  1. The person whose name name is bolded above will click on this link. Then, share that copy of the Google Slide show with the other members of your group, and with both of us.
  2. The number next to your name corresponds with a document for the first part of class:
  3. Read your assigned document. Define the main idea and identify two key quotations necessary to understand the main idea. Enter those into the appropriate slide in your group’s slideshow.
  4. With your partners, share the main ideas and key quotations from your document. Make sure everyone in your group has an understanding of its basic ideas.
  5. Working together, search the internet for a political cartoon about each document. For example, search for “Social Darwinism Cartoon” then look through the image results. Choose one for each document and paste it into your slideshow.
  6. Discuss and analyze the cartoon, using the questions on the slide. Type your responses into that slide.
  7. Lastly, move to the questions on the three following slides. Formulate a response together and enter it into the slide. If you’d like to add images or illustrations into your slide, feel free to do that.
  8. Hopefully you are able to complete all of the above steps during 7th period. After a break, you will start your homework for the weekend.
  9. Read and annotate Spanish-American War readings and respond to the study guides for Parts I and II. Your journal entry is the completion of the study guides for parts one and two of the reading.
  10. Then read and annotate your  assigned policy choice (number corresponds to your number in the chart above)
